What Can I Feed My Worms?

Worms can eat almost anything that is plant based with a neutral pH. Some good examples include:

  • Apple peels or cores
  • Leafy greens
  • Bread
  • Rice
  • Vegetable scraps
  • Coffee grinds

A good rule of thumb is if it will burn your eye, it will burn their skin. This means avoid onions, garlic, spice, ginger and citrus fruits as the citric acid will irritate their skin. Avoid meat and cheese as well.
